Shalini Nataraj
Shalini Nataraj, VP of Programs with the Global Fund for Women, and prior
to that Associate Director of the Reebok Human Rights Awards Program,
brings considerable experience in the human rights, development and
environmental justice fields. Her expertise includes grantmaking, policy
advocacy, constituency education and building the capacity of human rights
and community groups. Shalini has worked closely with pro-democracy groups
and ethnic groups fighting for recognition of their rights in South and
Southeast Asia and with human rights groups in East Africa and North
America.
Shalini serves on the boards of several social justice and humanitarian
organizations that work on human rights and development issues. She is a
Steering Committee member of the International Human Rights Funders' Group
and has provided her expertise to numerous initiatives related to human
trafficking, women’s reproductive rights, refugee rights, sustainable
development, Burma and South Asia.
