Margaret S. Bacon, Ph.D.
Dr. Bacon is a clinical psychologist with over 25 years experience in hospitals, community mental health centers, educational settings and private practice.
She received her master's in social work from the University of Connecticut and did a post-master's fellowship in child development and play therapy at Yale University. She supervised social work and psychology graduate students for the University of Connecticut and Yale.
She entered a doctoral program at the University of Minnesota to continue her interest in child development. Her research focused on the relationship of early trauma to the emergence of later psychopathology.
