Danielle Fox
Program and Development Director
With degrees in International Development & Social Change and International Relations from Clark University, Danielle has happily dedicated herself to international nonprofit work. Since 1997, Danielle has worked extensively in the human rights movement through her many roles with the human rights organization, Amnesty International USA, focusing on efforts in membership mobilization and structure, organizational planning, and leadership training. In addition to her work in AI’s activism, Danielle has worked in lobbying and campaigning with the Physicians for Human Rights' United States Campaign to Ban Landmines and has served on Idealist On Campus' Student Advisory Board, which works to provide opportunities and resources for socially-conscious, active young people.
Taking a turn from advocacy and mobilization to humanitarian efforts in
nonprofit work, Danielle immediately connected with Burma Border Projects’ efforts
along the Thai-Burma border passionately working on the organizational
front as the Development and Outreach Associate. Embarking upon her new
role as Program and Development Director in July, 2006, Danielle is thrilled
to have the opportunity to devote
herself the work of BBP, and in so doing, make a real difference in the
lives of these wonderful, deserving people.
